I’ve got all the parks listed in my Merriam Parks Round-Up! Merriam Parks are from sunrise to sunset. Majority of the parks have the Turkey Creek Streamway Trail.
Best Overall Merriam Park
Antioch Park – this park is not only the largest but offers restrooms and not just portapotties. Since this park isn’t actually own by the City of Merriam the park hours vary for the seasons.
Best Park in Merriam for Train Watching
Waterfall Park Features a waterfall to sit and enjoy or watch as the trains go by. Also a playground and soccer fields.
Other Merriam Parks
Brown Memorial Park Feature the best slide and pickle ball court.
Campbell Park 40 year old community park with trail access.
Chatlain Park Check out the unique slide and tree spinner available at this park.
Merriam Historic Plaza Not your traditional park, but shares a love of the history story of Merriam City.
Merriam Marketplace / Werner Park – This isn’t a true park area features area to reach the trail, picnic tables with a grill, water fountain, and the large structure for Farmer’s Market so it can be shaded.
Quail Creek Park Neighborhood Park with shade, playground, and green space
